We walk your property, find every trip hazard, measure it, and document it. No cost, no obligation.

The problem
Most trip hazards are easy to miss until someone falls. Raised joints, settled slabs, and lifted sections from tree roots develop slowly across a property, and no one is assigned to go looking for them.
When it applies
- You manage an HOA, apartment community, or commercial property and want a clear picture of your walkways.
- A resident or tenant has reported a raised sidewalk and you want to know whether there are more.
- You are planning next year's maintenance budget and need a documented scope.
- A board or owner has asked for options before approving any concrete work.
How we do it
- 1
We walk every path of travel
A CHS surveyor walks sidewalks, courtyards, pool decks, parking areas, and common-area walkways looking for vertical displacement, spalls, cracks, and drainage problems.
- 2
Each hazard is measured and photographed
We measure the displacement at every location and note whether it falls in the grinding range, needs patching, or should be removed and replaced.
- 3
You receive a documented proposal
The proposal lists each hazard by location with the recommended repair and the price, so you can approve all of it, part of it, or phase it across budget years.
A site survey is where every CHS project starts. Property managers and board members rarely have time to walk every sidewalk on a property with a tape measure, so we do it for you.
We look at the whole path of travel, not just the spot someone reported. Tree roots, soil movement, and replacement slabs that were never set level all show up as raised edges, and a property that has one usually has several.
Everything we find goes into a written proposal organized by location. That document is built to be read by a board or an owner, with the recommended method and the price for each hazard, so approving the work does not require anyone to become a concrete expert.
