The right repair for each hazard.
Most trip hazards can be ground away in minutes. The ones that can't are patched or replaced. Our free survey tells you which is which, location by location, before you approve anything.

Concrete Grinding
The fastest, least disruptive way to remove a raised edge. We bevel the high side back to a smooth, clean, non-slip surface.
- Vertical displacement between ¼ inch and 2 inches at a joint or crack.
- The surrounding concrete is otherwise sound.

Concrete Removal & Replacement
When a section is displaced more than 2 inches or too broken to save, we remove it, address the cause, and pour new concrete matched to its surroundings.
- Vertical displacement of 2 inches or more.
- Extensive cracking, or sections broken into multiple pieces.

Concrete Patch & Repair
Spalls, chips, broken edges, and cracks that cannot be ground are repaired with a bonded cement-polymer patch or crack injection.
- Surface spalling, chips, or broken-out concrete at edges and joints.
- Cracks that need to be sealed before they widen.

Hillside V-Ditch Repair
Crack repair and full replacement of the concrete drainage ditches that protect slopes on hillside communities.
- Cracks running along or across a V-ditch channel.
- Sections heaved, settled, or separated at the joints.

Annual Site Safety Reviews
A scheduled return visit each year to find and price new hazards before they become someone's fall.
- You have already had trip hazards repaired and want to keep the property that way.
- Your board wants a predictable line item for walkway maintenance instead of surprise repairs.

Pressure Washing
Walkways, pool decks, and common areas cleaned of grime, algae, and buildup that make concrete look tired and feel slick.
- Walkways and common areas that have gone dull or dark with buildup.
- Pool decks, patios, and shaded paths where algae and mildew form.
Same sidewalk. Different contractor.
Anyone can rent a grinder. Left: another contractor's work, with a ragged edge, scarring across the slab, and a lip that's still there. Right: a CHS grind. Straight back line, even bevel, the neighboring slab untouched. You can see the difference from the street. So can a resident's attorney.
- Sloped back at 1:8 or gentler, never a steep lip
- Squared off at the back for a clean, straight line
- The concrete on the other side of the joint is left alone
- Non-slip finish with the same traction as the surrounding concrete
